1961 Ford Econoline Van

Name: Fred Oldenburg, Ford, Wash.

Purchased: In 2000 from an auction for $50.

Why I love it: Because it’s different! We built it from pieces of three old vans. It was sectioned 10 inches, lengthened 16 inches and had 3 inches added to the bottom. We put a sub-frame in the rear to carry the 9-inch Ford narrowed rear-end. It is powered by a Chevy big block, bored to 468 with a 671.
