Solid Waste Liaison Board

1:30 p.m. Monday, Council Briefing Center, City Hall; agenda includes consideration of tipping fee adjustments and status of the comprehensive solid waste management plan update.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The City Council is expected to approve the purchase of the Valley police precinct building. Topics of discussion during the study session also include re-striping Broadway and a regional concurrency study.

10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Spokane County Courthouse public hearing room, joint meeting of the City Council and the county commission. Agenda includes discussion of the Milwaukee railroad right of way and criminal justice.

Spokane County commission

10 a.m. Monday, commissioners’ boardroom, County Courthouse. Commissioners will discuss tax-increment financing.

4 p.m. Monday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Commissioners will consider amendments to the county’s comprehensive plan.

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building; agenda includes presentation from the Washington Commission on Hispanic Affairs.

2 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building; agenda includes consideration of selling the Valley police precinct building to the city of Spokane Valley.

4 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ boardroom, County Courthouse. Commissioners will discuss sewer rates.

4 p.m. Thursday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building. If items remain from Monday afternoon meeting about comprehensive plan amendments, remaining items will be considered at this time.
