RiverHawks eke out win

SILVERDALE, Wash. – Carl Uhl’s RBI single in the top of the eighth scored Greg Biagi and gave the visiting Spokane RiverHawks a 2-1 victory over Kitsap in a West Coast Collegiate Baseball League game Monday.

Corey Powell threw five shutout innings for Spokane (2-2).

The RiverHawks’ home opener is Saturday at Avista Stadium at 6:30 p.m.
