Kryon author will speak at Unity Church
Lee Carroll, author of the Kryon book series, will be presenting a daylong program at the Unity Church, 4123 E. Lincoln Road, on Saturday.
A New Age author who focuses on metaphysics, Carroll has presented his program at the United Nations several times. His first invitation to the U.N. was in 1995, when he spoke to a chartered group known as the Society for Enlightenment and Transformation.
Carroll’s original Kryon book, published in 1993, continues to be the top seller among all the works. Lee is the author of 10 Kryon books and co-author of “The Indigo Children” and “An Indigo Celebration.” Kryon is an ancient spirit that Carroll channels to help humanity evolve.
“Kryon is about love, empowerment and unity for humanity,” said Wendy Arnquist, a Kryon follower in Spokane who was instrumental in bringing Carroll to Spokane.
Many Kryon followers also are faithful visitors to www.kryon.com, which details the belief and philosophies of the movement. The site receives more than 20,000 visits a day at its home page.
Lee and Jan Tober started Kryon light groups in a living room in Del Mar, Calif., in 1991.
Arnquist said that while many of Carroll’s seminars feature other speakers and attract hundreds of followers, Carroll will be alone at the smaller Spokane presentation.
Many of the Kryon followers also study the teachings of Deepak Chopra, the New Age guru noted for his teachings in holistic healing; Louise L. Hay, a metaphysical teacher and author of 27 books; Wayne W. Dyer, author and speaker in the field of self-development; Caroline Myss, co-author of “The Creation of Health; and author Sandra Brown.
Saturday’s check-in begins at 11 a.m. The presentation will end at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $85.
