Gonzaga’s Adam Morrison, this year’s WCC Player of the Year and the nation’s top Division-I scorer, scored 34 points in Monday’s 75-72 win over San Francisco, raising his career point total to 1,747 and moving the junior forward past Ronny Turiaf (1,723) into fourth place on the school’s all-time scoring list. … In an interesting statistic from Monday’s GU-USF game, the Zags’ bench outscored the Dons’ 49-10. There’s a catch, though. Bulldogs coach Mark Few started the five seniors on his roster, three of whom have seen only limited playing time this season, but replaced them with his regulars about 3 1/2 minutes into the game. … San Francisco, which finished 7-7 in WCC play, split every one of its two-game WCC weekend series this winter and split their two games against travel partner Saint Mary’s.
