1:30 p.m. Monday, Human Resources Department’s training room, 1229 W. Mallon Ave. Discussion with county Community Services Director Christine Barada about mental health services.

4:30 p.m. Monday Human Resources Department’s training room, 1229 W. Mallon Ave. Joint meeting with Greater Columbia Behavioral Health board of directors to discuss possible merger with Spokane County’s mental health division.

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ boardroom, Spokane County Courthouse. Agenda includes discussion about possible expansion of Geiger Corrections Center to make room for federal inmates in the Spokane County Jail. Commissioners also will discuss a request to add positions to the public defender’s office.

2 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Agenda includes consideration of rezoning property southeast and adjacent to Gerlach Road, about one-third of a mile north of Lincoln Road, from rural traditional to mineral lands.

4 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners’ boardroom, Spokane County Courthouse. Officials will discuss the role of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.

9 a.m. Thursday, Room 2B, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The commission will hold a joint meeting with the county’s Planning Commission.

2 p.m. Thursday, commissioners’ boardroom, Spokane County Courthouse. Commissioners will meet with the executive director of the Washington Association of Counties.

1:30 p.m. Wednesday, council briefing center, lower level, City Hall, consideration of listings for historic properties.
