Staying on top of what’s happening in the Valley just got easier.

Now online is Valley Connection – a new blog dedicated to providing information on what’s going on in your community.

Short for “web log,” blogs are Internet sites where short stories and links are added to what becomes a list of continuously updated information on a topic.

On Valley Connection, look for breaking Valley news, background information on newspaper stories and tidbits from council meetings and other political goings-on. All will come from Valley reporter Peter Barnes and other Spokesman-Review journalists.

This week, the blog features stories about river users concerned about a Spokane Valley road project, hot spots for car crashes on Valley streets, voter turnout in the levy elections and more.
