Photos on display
A photo exhibit of Martin Luther King Jr. and the Freedom Movement’s 1966 march in Chicago will be on display in Spokane beginning Friday. This is only the fourth public showing of these photographs. Sponsored by Northwest Fair Housing Alliance, the exhibit will be shown in the lobby gallery of the Community Building, 35 W. Main St., throughout April, which is Fair Housing Month. Bernard Kleina, who documented the march, will be on hand at 6 p.m. Friday to share his memories of the civil rights movement.
