Mighty Ducks continue hot streak
Teemu Selanne scored twice and added an assist to lead the streaking Anaheim Mighty Ducks past the Phoenix Coyotes 5-2 Saturday in Glendale, Ariz.
The Ducks won their sixth straight game to remain in fifth place in the Western Conference. Anaheim was in ninth place when they played in Phoenix two weeks ago.

Blue Jackets 5, Red Wings 4 (SO): At Detroit, Jaroslav Balastik capped a comeback with the only goal of the shootout to lift Columbus to a win over the Red Wings.
Sharks 5, Wild 1: At St. Paul, Minn., Jonathan Cheechoo scored two goals, including his team-record 45th of the year, to help San Jose beat Minnesota.
Canadiens 6, Maple Leafs 2: At Montreal, Radek Bonk and Michael Ryder each scored twice to lead the Canadiens past Toronto.
Bruins 5, Sabres 4: At Boston, Marco Sturm scored late in the third period, Brad Boyes recorded a goal and two assists and Boston snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Buffalo, just hours after the Bruins fired general manager Mike O’Connell.
Islanders 5, Thrashers 1: At Uniondale, N.Y., Mike York scored twice, and Miroslav Satan added a goal and two assists as New York beat Atlanta.
Flyers 6, Senators 3: At Philadelphia, the Flyers scored four goals in the first period and Antero Niittymaki made the early spurt stand up with 33 saves in a win over Ottawa.
Capitals 3, Hurricanes 1: At Raleigh, N.C., rookie Alexander Ovechkin scored his 47th goal, Matt Pettinger added a short-handed score as Washington snapped an eight-game losing streak with a victory over Carolina.
Oilers 3, Canucks 2: Steve Staios’ third-period goal helped visiting Edmonton beat Vancouver and salvage the final game of the three-game series the teams played this week.
Kings 6, Predators 4: At Los Angeles, Alexander Frolov scored a pair of third-period goals to rally the Kings to a win over Nashville.
