Danielle Lynn and Heather Jackson scored on back-to-back doubles in the top of the eighth inning Saturday as Shadle Park knocked off Skyview (Vancouver) 2-0 at a festival at the University of Washington. Sophomore Samantha Skillingstad, co-MVP of the GSL last year, threw a complete-game two-hitter for the Highlanders (5-0), striking out 20 and hitting one of the game-winning doubles. … Samantha Bridgewater singled up the middle with runners on the corners in the bottom of the seventh to send W.F. West (Chehalis) to a 3-2 victory over University at the University of Washington. The Titans (4-1) scored twice in the top of the fifth to tie the game at 2 before Bridgewater’s heroics.

Cheney’s doubleheader at Clarkston was postponed because of rain. It will be made up at 1 p.m. Monday.

Great Northern League

Nick Wegeleben allowed one hit in his four-plus innings as Colville defeated visiting Deer Park 4-1 in the opener of a doubleheader. In the second game, Trevor Fox went four innings, allowed two hits and struck out five as the Indians (3-0, 3-0) led 6-0 after three innings and completed the sweep over the Stags (0-4, 0-3) by winning 11-1. … Pullman’s doubleheader at Riverside was postponed because of rain. A make-up day will be determined Monday.

Class B

Panorama League: Zach Gianukakis threw a no-hitter, striking out 12, as Republic (4-2, 2-2) scored an 11-1 win over visiting Selkirk (0-2, 0-2) in the opener of a doubleheader. In the second game, Derek Gianukakis struck out 15, giving up one hit, as the Tigers beat the Rangers 10-0.

Tyler Bland scored the go-ahead goal in the 16th minute as Riverside (3-1, 2-1) rebounded from an early Nick Davis strike to hold off Deer Park (1-3, 1-2) 3-1 at Deer Park. … Justin Linafelter had a hat trick and Nick Daniels had a goal and a pair of assists as Medical Lake (1-2, 1-0) knocked off Chewelah (0-2, 0-2) 5-2 at Medical Lake.

Track and field Crystal Simmons won the 100-meter dash and the 400 to lead Cheney’s girls to a team victory at the Blackhawk Invite at Cheney High School. Simmons won the 100 in 13.1 seconds and the 400 in 1:01.30. The Blackhawks finished with 203.5 team points, well ahead of second-place Riverside (96 points). Jonathan Miller won the long and triple jumps as Cheney’s boys scored 177.5 points. Colville (97) was second. … Marc Soelberg won the high jump and took second in the pole vault as Freeman’s boys took the team victory at the Frostbite Invite at the old U-Hi. Soelberg jumped 5 feet, 4 inches to win the high jump and cleared 10-0 in the pole vault, 6 inches behind Lind-Ritzville’s Jimmy Bartz. Freeman finished with 124.5 team points, well ahead of second-place Odessa (84). Jessie DePell won the girls long jump and came in second in the pole vault as Freeman earned a narrow team victory. DePell cleared 9-0 to finish 6 inches behind Keslye Llewellyn of Wilbur-Creston in the pole vault and jumped 15-2 to win the long jump as Freeman racked up 86 team points.
