Mike Piper has been hired as a sales associate in the Coeur d’Alene office of Windermere Real Estate. He previously worked as director of marketing and sales and resort development at Fairmont Hot Springs.

Farmers Insurance has named Brad Fitzgerald as an agent. He previously worked as a manager at ConAgra/Lamb-Weston and has opened an office on the north side of Spokane.

Teresa Eggleston has been hired as director of marketing at Kiemle & Hagood Co. She holds a degree in business/marketing from Eastern Washington University.

Taylor Engineering has hired Rik Van Gelder as a surveyor and design technician at the company’s new Coeur d’Alene branch.

Eagle Home Mortgage has hired Ron McVay as a mortgage consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Walla Walla College and has nine years of mortgage loan consulting experience.

Coffman Engineers has promoted Kurt Niven to a principal. He has been with the company since 1998 and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

Dan Rauscher has been promoted at Garco Building Systems to general sales and marketing manager. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University and has been with the company since 1997.

AmericanWest Bank has promoted Blair Reynolds to executive vice president. Reynolds works as general counsel for AmericanWest Bancorporation and has been with the bank since 2004.

Brandon Mulvey, a business account executive at Verizon Wireless in Spokane, has earned membership in the company’s President’s Cabinet. He received this award for ranking in the top 2 percent nationally in sales in 2005.

The Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce has awarded the following military personnel the Person of the Year Award. They are: Senior Airman Jon Cael of the Washington State Air National Guard, Master Sgt. Karla McClure of the Washington State Air National Guard, Sgt. Nicholas Stuart of the United States Army National Guard, and Senior Master Sgt. Brian Lavoie of the United State Air Force.
