Parent wants best for all children

With all the things that are going on in our world, it is sad when we lose sight of what’s most important and affects the future of our communities.

Because my son attends Orchard Center Elementary and I live in the Central Valley School District, I cannot vote for any type of changes that affect my son’s school career. I would like to ask all the people who live in the West Valley District to vote for the replacement levy Tuesday and support our schools and communities that I am very much a part of. I want the best for my son, all the children who are in the West Valley School District and all schools for that matter.

Make a stand, don’t vote on Tuesday

I am so tired of paying!

With runaway gasoline prices that I can’t do anything about; with runaway energy prices from Avista that I can’t do anything about; stamp rate increases that I can’t do anything about; insurance increases, food cost increases, everything increases. What happened to our $30 auto license tabs?

Finally there is the uncontrolled greed by the West Valley School District, the highest in Washington state. When is enough enough?

We can do something about this one. Based on the general election, a specific percentage of voter turnout must be met in this one-item election for the West Valley maintenance and operation levy. Common people cannot out spend the school district voting machine. A “no” vote does not seem to get it failed. A better idea is to not vote on this Tuesday deadline. If you are against runaway costs for everything, start making a stand and don’t vote and we can defeat this levy.
