Truck crash into creek kills driver

The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a traffic accident Friday in which a man and his dog were killed when his pickup apparently failed to negotiate a corner on Waitt’s Lake Road and landed upside down in a creek near Valley, Wash.

The Sheriff’s Office declined to identify the victim or to release any information about the accident.
