Braves 11, Marlins 8: At Atlanta, Brian McCann homered and had a career-high five RBIs, and Andruw Jones drove in four runs as Atlanta rallied from a 5-0 deficit to beat Florida. The Marlins lost despite getting a three-run double and a three-run homer from Mike Jacobs. Braves starting pitcher Kyle Davies went out with a groin injury and likely is headed for the disabled list.

Dodgers 5, Rockies 4: At Denver, Nomar Garciaparra singled home the go-ahead run in the seventh and Brett Tomko won for the first time at Coors Field as Los Angeles knocked off Colorado.

Giants 10, Astros 1: At Houston, Pedro Feliz hit his fourth career grand slam and Randy Winn led off the game with his fourth homer of the year as San Francisco beat Houston. Barry Bonds was 1 for 3 with a single for the Giants.

Diamondbacks 6, Padres 5 (10): At Phoenix, Shawn Green singled in the winning run in the 10th inning as Arizona defeated San Diego.
