Motorcyclist seriously hurt in I-90 crash
An Oregon motorcyclist was seriously injured shortly after 7 p.m. Friday when he crashed his bike and rolled several times while going about 100 mph on Interstate 90 near Cataldo, Idaho, the state police said.
He wasn’t wearing a helmet.
However, the Idaho State Police reported the man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was alive and talking three hours later at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene.
Alcohol contributed to the crash in the eastbound lanes at the Rose Lake junction, according to the state police.
Officers said the injured man was part of a group of motorcyclists en route to Wallace, Idaho.
