Taylor Engineering has hired Erica Amsden as a certified engineer in training. She is a 2004 graduate of Gonzaga University and previously worked at the Spokane County Department of Engineering and Roads.

Justin Bell has been hired as an agent at Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates.

Intermountain Community Bank has hired Kellie Yates as vice president of private banking. She has over 25 years of banking experience and is a graduate of the University of Idaho.

David Newsom has been hired as a realtor at Coldwell Banker Northwest Group. He previously worked in the transportation industry.

Windermere/Coeur d’Alene Realty has hired Tiffany Williams as a sales associate. She previously worked in the insurance industry.

Chris Ferro has been hired as a sales associate in the Post Falls office of Windermere/Coeur d’Alene Realty. She previously worked as a buyer’s agent at Marshall Mend in Hayden, Idaho.

Juliet Campbell has been hired as contracts administrator at Telect. She previously worked as a paralegal.

ReliOn has hired David Edlund. He has 19 years of experience in reformer and fuel cell technology and was the co-founder and chief technology officer at IdaTech.

Kyle Shaver has been hired as a structural engineer at Coffman Engineers. He holds a masters degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois.

PROMOTED

Rich Yost has been promoted to director of marketing and business development at Wagstaff Inc. He was previously the company’s Eastern United States regional sales manager and holds a master’s of business administration degree in marketing.

Garco Building Systems has promoted Ken Sanman to controller. For the past eight years, Sanman worked as assistant controller and credit manager for the company.

The KXLY Broadcast Group has promoted Roger Nelson to market manager of programming and operations for the KXLY Radio Group. He has worked in the radio industry for 27 years and previously worked as director of sales for KXLY AM, KXLX AM and KVNI.

Kirt Fredericks, cq a vice president, financial consultant at D.A. Davidson & Co., has been named to the President’s Club for his outstanding service to clients and performance.

Elaine Atkins has received a “Health Heroes” award from Panhandle Health District. She has worked as the community health manager and the occupational health manager at Boundary Community Hospital.

Raymond Hanson, the founder of R.A. Hanson Company, has received the Evergreen Freedom Foundation’s “Friend of Liberty” award.

APPOINTED

Governor Dirk Kempthorne has appointed Judy Baird to the 2010 Idaho Olympic Committee. Baird is the executive director of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.

NEW LOCATION

The Farmers Insurance office on the north side of Spokane run by Debra Moore has been moved to the South Hill.

Potlatch Foundation has presented 75 students with scholarships for the 2006-2007 school year.
