S. Perry Artists Show planned

Liberty Park Florist and Greenhouse will host the annual South Perry Neighborhood Artists Show and sale Saturday at Eighth Avenue and Perry Street.

Handmade items will available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists scheduled to attend will showcase jewelry, dolls, garden art and more.

Meetings

“Community Assembly meeting for all neighborhoods will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at the Spokane City Hall City Council Briefing Center, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

“The West Hills Neighborhood Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Westcliff Condos, 1311 S. Westcliff Place.

“The Comstock Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sacajawea Middle School, 401 E. 33rd Ave. The guest speaker will be Spokane Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick.

“The Southgate Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Educatioal Service District 101, 42nd Avenue and Regal Street.

“The Cliff/Cannon Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday at Roosevelt Elementary School, 333 W. 14th Ave. The guest speaker with be state Sen. Lisa Brown.

“The Latah Valley/Hangman Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday at the former Tidyman’s at Highway 195 and Cheney-Spokane Road.
