Scott, Jordan lead NIC past Williston State

Niki Scott had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Simone Jordan added 21 points as the North Idaho College women beat Williston State 82-71 at the Teton Tip Off Tournament Saturday in Williston, N.D.

The Cardinals (2-0) made 11 3-pointers and outrebounded the Tetons 46-37.

Kia Herbel led Williston State with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Men

Brian Morris had game highs of 27 points and 11 rebounds to guide North Idaho (1-1) past Williston State 93-70 at the Teton Tip Off Tournament in Williston.

The Cardinals shot 59 percent from the field in the second half, outscoring the Tetons 52-33.

Nick Livi added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals.

Ante Samodol led Williston State with 12 points.
