Backpacking/ Hiking/Orienteering

Nov. 19-25: North Idaho College’s Utah desert backpacking trip. Travel 800 miles by van to Escalante, Utah, spending the first night in Petrified Forest State Park before heading into the backcountry. Cost: $125. Info: (208) 769-7809.

Nov. 24-26: Fifth annual AAU Turkey Shoot Basketball Tournament for boys and girls teams in grades 6-8 at the Warehouse Athletic Facility. Must have current AAU cards to participate. Info: Katie, 484-2670.

Nov. 23: Bloomsday Road Runners Club’s Turkey Trot, 9 a.m. at Manito Park Duck Pond. No cost. Info: www.brrc.net.
