Somebody Needs You helps match donors with needy Spokane residents. Requests are coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the agency listed below. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

•Teen mother needs a dresser, newer crib with mattress and crib sheets. Contact Carissa at Lutheran Community Service, 343-5035.

•Low-income senior woman needs a couch and love seat. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

•Youth just out of foster care needs bed, dresser, couch, coffee table, end tables, lamps, bedding, TV set, microwave oven, towels and household supplies. Contact Shari at Volunteers of America, 482-5095.

•Single mother with boys needs a double or queen size bed. Contact Tabitha at Transitional Living Center, 216-8371.

•Low-income single mother with child needs adult bicycle, helmets (adult and child), knee pads and training wheels for child’s bike. Contact Michelle at Transitional Living Center, 327-0418.

•Low-income family needs a washer and dryer. Contact Belle at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.

•Low-income disabled woman needs table lamps or standing lamps. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

•Mentally handicapped man needs a refrigerator. Contact Gail at SNAP, 487-1114.
