Name: Tiffany Acher

Age: 18

Hometown: It’s Coeur d’Alene now. I moved here from Polson, Mont., at the beginning of June.

Occupation: I’m a cook, server and manager-in-training at the Pizza Hut in Hayden.

Family: I live with my sister, Roberta, and I have another sister, Jessica, in Wisconsin. My dad, Mike, lives in Polson and my mom, Tammy, is in Billings.

Hobbies: Anything outdoors, but especially fishing, camping and swimming.

What do you like about North Idaho? It’s my first time away from home, so I appreciate the fact that there’s a big lake here, like Flathead Lake where I came from. It’s not an abrupt change.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I just love fall, the colors and the mild temperatures.

Favorite music: I like all kinds of music, even heavy metal, as long as it has a good beat and it’s played by good musicians.

Favorite movie: “Dumb and Dumber”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? I really like Tubbs Hill. It’s nice and shady, close to the lake, a great place to walk and it has some cool places for swimming and exploring.
