CdA, Lake City win on road in Washington
Alex Reyes scored a touchdown in each half as Coeur d’Alene knocked off host Southridge 33-14 in a non-league contest on Friday. Reyes finished with 70 yards on just four carries.
After leading 14-7 at halftime, the Vikings (6-2) outscored Southridge 19-7 to put the game out of reach. Shea Vucinich added 49 rushing yards and a touchdown and 81 yards passing in the win.
In other Idaho non-league action, Lake City (8-0) scored 31 unanswered points after giving up a touchdown on Moses Lake’s (5-3) first offensive drive and won 38-21. Garren Hammons threw three touchdown passes in the second quarter for the Timberwolves after Moses Lake’s first score.
In an Inland Empire League game, Devon Brown caught four passes for 138 yards and scored twice to lead host Lewiston (4-4, 1-1) to a 41-20 win over Post Falls (3-5, 0-2).
