Help preserve old farm

Spokane Preservation Advocates will host another Doing-It project Saturday. Volunteers will be asked to work on a historic farm between Davenport and Creston, Wash., with the Bureau of Land Management. The work will include sketching buildings and taking measurements with global positioning system equipment. Those attending are advised to wear orange vests or bright clothing because hunting season has begun. Lunch will be provided.

Those interested may meet in the Safeway parking lot at Third Avenue and Maple Street at 8:30 a.m. Saturday to carpool. Children are welcome. Call 747-7239 for more information.
