Pit bulls get a bad rap sometimes, and Diesel is no exception. It took one growl at a grandchild, and he was removed from the only home he’d ever known. Shelter workers have witnessed no aggression. They say that Diesel loves to cuddle and is described as the “perfect dog.” He does show signs of stress in the shelter, though, and shakes and trembles in his cage. Once he’s released, he is happy, obedient and secure. If you agree that Diesel deserves one more chance, visit him at the Coeur d’Alene Animal Shelter at 125 Hazel or call (208) 665-7379 to learn more.
