YAKIMA – Nickolas Cadena and K.C. Herren each had three hits to lead the Spokane Indians to a 6-2 Northwest League victory over the Yakima Bears.

Cadena doubled twice among his three hits for Spokane (24-50), which got five solid innings from starting pitcher Jeremiah Haar for his first professional victory.

Haar gave up three hits and an unearned run while striking out two and walking two.

Joseph Batten had two hits for Yakima (28-46).

Game two of the season-ending three-game series is tonight.
