Centennial built a 24-7 halftime lead and held on to beat Coeur d’Alene 34-21 in non-league action Friday night in Boise. Coeur d’Alene’s Shea Vucinich was 12 of 24 passing for 212 yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings started the scoring with a 42-yard touchdown reception by Calvin Peterson, but Centennial scored the next 24 points before halftime. … In another non-league game, Darion Brown caught four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown as Borah shut out Sandpoint (0-3) 35-0, also in Boise. The Bulldogs were limited to 50 yards passing and 119 yards rushing. Borah quarterback Skylar Montoyo was 16 of 23 passing for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Kurt Stoll led Sandpoint’s offense with 77 yards rushing.

Ryan Miller had 287 yards on 12 carries and scored six touchdowns as Clark Fork (2-1) rolled to an easy 64-18 win over Inchelium (0-2) at Clark Fork. Miller had touchdown runs of 19, 18, 25, 51, 56 and 4 yards. Austin Martin started the scoring for the Wampus Cats by returning an interception 61 yards for a touchdown on their first defensive series of the game. … In other non-league action, Shane Moser had a three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and Matt Blankenship added a 35-yard field goal in the third quarter as Lewiston (1-1) beat Clarkston (1-1) 9-0 in Clarkston. … J.T. Levenseller ran for 134 yards on six carries and scored three touchdowns as Pullman (2-0) blew out Moscow 46-6 in Pullman. Levenseller had touchdown runs in both the first and second quarters and also returned a fumble 68 yards for another score. Michael Baszler led Moscow (1-2) with 65 rushing yards and scored the Bears’ touchdown on a three-yard reception in the third quarter.

Jason Peterson scored for Lethridge on a 16-yard run in the second quarter, but Bonners Ferry’s defense blocked the extra-point attempt. That proved to be the difference. The Badgers also blocked two field goal attempts, one in the third quarter and one in the fourth. Swift led the Bonners Ferry defense with 12 tackles and John Heagle chipped in with a sack, forced fumble and six tackles. … Roshann Pescho had 176 yards rushing and scored five touchdowns as Troy beat Lakeside (0-2) 56-12 in Plummer. Troy came out strong, outscoring the Knights 22-0 in the first quarter. Travis Miller led Lakeside with 57 yards rushing.

Kris Wise had two interceptions and returned a fumble 55 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter as Riverside (1-0) beat Priest River (1-2) 16-6 in Riverside. Derek Martin led the Rams with 125 yards passing with one touchdown. Priest River’s touchdown came on Brian Nelson’s 55 yard run in the second quarter. Riverside’s defense stepped up by forcing two safeties and holding the Spartans to minus-7 rushing yards in the second half. … Potlatch built a 19-0 halftime lead and held on to beat St. Maries 39-8 in Potlatch. … Wallace’s game against Thompson Falls, Mont., was postponed due to lightning. The game will be made up today at 6 p.m. in Wallace. …Timberline came back from a 22-14 halftime deficit to beat Kootenai 48-34 in non-league action at Timberline. Timberline outscored Kootenai 36-12 in the second half.

Southeast 1B League

David Craig had touchdown runs of 46, 97, 45 and 55 yards as Jubilee Academy (2-0, 2-0) rocked Sprague-Harrington (0-3, 0-2) 68-30 in Harrington. In all, Craig rushed seven times for 283 yards and had four touchdowns. Terry Kissler led the Falcons’ with 340 rushing yards on 27 carries. … In other 8-man action, Colton/Pullman Christian (1-0, 1-0) built a 30-6 first-quarter lead and beat Liberty Christian (0-2, 0-1) 58-12 in Liberty. Colton/Pullman Christian quarterback Corey Horstman threw for five touchdowns, including a 95-yard strike to Thomas Jacobs in the first quarter. Horstman also ran for two touchdowns. … Phillip Luft ran 35 times for 300 yards and four touchdowns as St. John-Endicott beat Touchet 36-22 in Endicott. Andrew Wolfe added 73 yards passing and one touchdown for the Eagles, who finished with 420 total rushing yards on 68 carries.

Northeast A League

Ben Aune threw for 78 yards and had one touchdown as Colfax knocked off Chewelah 35-11 in Colfax. Nathan Johnson added 60 yards passing and ran for one touchdown. Kyle Hill ran 16 times for 92 yards and one touchdown. …In other Northeast A League action, Chris Davis had thee rushing touchdowns as Freeman destroyed Newport 48-0 in Newport. The Scotties lead 34-0 at halftime. … Lucas Fox ran for 176 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns as Kettle Falls beat Lakeside 33-14 in Kettle Falls. Eric VanMeter had an 81-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for the Eagles in the loss.

Washington non-league

Brian Peterson completed nine of 18 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns as West Valley (1-1) beat Stevensville 41-15 in Stevensville, Mont. Peterson also scored a rushing touchdown. On the Eagle’s last score, backup quarterback Zach Lindsley found Andy Vennum for an 88-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter … Greg Giese had 143 yards on 12 carries and scored four touchdowns as Almira/Coulee-Hartline beat Entiat 44-12 in Coulee City. Giese had touchdown runs of 3, 3, 40 and 5 yards in the win. Almira/Coulee-Hartline totaled 382 rushing yards. Caden Grinier’s fumble recovery to begin the second half set up Giese’s 40-yard touchdown run. … In other non-league action, Kendrick built a 32-0 first-quarter lead and cruised to a 56-12 win over host Cusick. Spencer Spanholtzer led the Panthers with one touchdown pass and a touchdown run. … Kyle Nelson ran for two touchdowns, passed for another and returned a punt for another score as Davenport destroyed Springdale 66-0 in Davenport.
