Aging and Long-term Care of Eastern Washington – The planning and management council usually meets the fourth Friday of each month from 1-3:30 p.m. at 1222 N. Post St. For more information, call 458-2509.

Carebears Support Group For those widowed or alone, this group meets every Monday from noon-1 p.m. at the Southside Senior Activity Center, 3151 E. 27th. For more information, call the center at 535-0803.

Fitness classes – A variety of fitness classes offered through the Institute of Extended Learning. Call 533-4756 for more information.

Free foot and hand care – Provided for persons ages 60 years and over, Tuesdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m., East Central Senior Center, 500 S. Stone. Service provided by nursing students from Intercollegiate College of Nursing Education; includes hand and foot massage, foot soaks, nail trims, and nail painting. Diabetics are eligible for all services except nail clipping. Appointment is required by calling 625-6693.

Gentle Exercise – The Institute for Extended Learning seniors program is offering this class at several locations and times. For times, locations, dates and cost, call 533-4756.
