9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. Agenda includes discussion of an animal control ordinance.

2 p.m. Tuesday, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, Public Works Building. Agenda includes consideration of rules for accessing public records.

3:30 p.m. Thursday, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, Public Works Building. Commissioners will meet with the Spokane City Council.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Agenda for regular meeting includes a first reading of an ordinance convening a council salary commission.

6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Decades Meeting Place & Banquet Room next to Rosauers at University and Sprague. Community meeting to discuss plans to revitalize Sprague Avenue and develop a Spokane Valley city center.

6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, joint meeting with the Planning Commission to discuss the Sprague redevelopment study.

Cheney City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, Cheney City Hall, 609 Second St. Agenda includes the appointment of Michael W. Winters as the city’s new fire chief.

Spokane Regional Transportation Council

1:30 p.m. Thursday, Intermodal Center, 221 W. First Ave., Suite 310. The meeting agenda includes Bridging the Valley, regional concurrency and travel demand modeling.
