Purchased: Ordered in June 2005, sight unseen and never sat in.

Picked it up February 2006 at Nelson GM in Moscow, Idaho.

Why we love it: A co-worker saw this new roadster on “The Apprentice,” and suggested that we look it up on the Internet. One look and we were hooked: Aggressive lines, low to the ground, rag top stows out of the way under rear- deck cowling. Monsoon stereo. Leather seats. 45-series Eagle tires.

American made, and affordable at $26K with all options! We did the, “What do you think?” thing for about three weeks, then ordered it. We already have 13,000 head-turning miles on our red roadster.

Our next car will be: I think this will be our one lifetime frivolous purchase, and we’ll drive it ‘til it’s a classic.
