Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted on suspicion of second-degree robbery.

Donald Ford, 47, is described as American Indian, 6 feet tall and 230 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, said Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Dave Reagan. Ford most recently lived in the 600 block of West Shannon in Spokane.

On April 16, Ford went to the Old Navy store at 14022 E. Indiana and attempted to steal merchandise by hiding it beneath his clothes, Reagan said. When confronted outside the store, Ford allegedly shoved a security employee and threw a jacket at her.

Police arrested him a short time later for second-degree robbery and booked him into jail, Reagan said. However, Ford disappeared after being released on bail.

A new $25,000 arrest warrant has been issued for Ford.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call (509) 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward, but should provide the operator a code name or number.
