6 p.m. Tuesday, Cheney City Hall, 609 Second St. Agenda includes consideration of the city’s urban growth area.

Spokane Valley Planning Commission

6 p.m., Thursday, City Hall, meeting includes public hearings on titles 17 (general provisions), 18 (administration, boards and authorities) and 20 (subdivisions) in the new uniform development code. There also will be a presentation on proposed additions to Spokane Valley’s urban growth area. A public hearing on the UGA is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 12.
