NEW FACES

Dr. Kara Waters has been hired at Family Health Center in Sandpoint. She specializes in osteopathic medicine and is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo.

The Post Falls office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Frank LaMiaux as a sales associate. He has 30 years of experience in the building trade and is a licensed home inspector.

Glen Post has been hired as lead scientist for method transfer and development at HollisterStier Laboratories. He previously worked as a research assistant at the University of Colorado and holds a doctorate degree in organic chemistry from the University of Colorado.

DCI Engineers has hired Kellie Kimball to work in the structural CAD department.

Darin Christensen has been hired as chief executive officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest. He previously worked at Lloyds Liberty Homes Mentor Network in Fresno, Calif.

PROMOTED

Jason Suk has been promoted to assistant vice president of Sterling Savings Bank. He has worked at the bank for four years and is regional sales coordinator for the southern region. He holds a master of business administration degree from Eastern Washington University.

Global Credit Union has promoted Linda Crane to new-employee trainer in the human resources and training department. She has worked at the bank for five years and previously worked as a member services representative.

Chad LeGate has been promoted to vice president, relationship manager for the wealth management and advisory services groups of Washington Trust Bank. He has worked at the bank since 1993.

Margie Basaraba has earned the Certified Identity Theft Risk Management designation from the Institute of Fraud Risk Management. She is director and an independent associate at Pre-Paid Legal Services.

Coeur d’Alene Cellars Winery has received the Best of Show award for its 2003 Syrah at the Idaho Wine Festival.

Gonzaga University’s Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program has established a scholarship fund in the name of Paul Buller, a professor at the school and the program’s academic director.
