Traffic focus of discussion
Traffic between Spokane Valley and Rathdrum Prairie will be the topic of discussion Wednesday when transportation officials meet with the public at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley.
What’s needed are public opinions on what roads connecting the communities work and which ones need improvement, according to the Spokane Regional Transportation Council. The two-hour meeting begins at 5 p.m. at 821 S. Sullivan Road.
Those comments will be rolled into a study on the future transportation needs of the eastern portion of Spokane Valley and west Rathdrum Prairie from Sullivan Road in the Valley to Highway 41 in Post Falls. Travel needs along north-south roads between Trent Avenue and to the ridge along Mica Peak will also be studied.
