Silhouettes representing children who died from abuse or neglect will be displayed at the following public events and locations:

“ICARE Family Skate Night, Skate Plaza, 5685 N. Pioneer Drive, Coeur d’Alene, April 19, 6-8:30 p.m.

“Day of the Child, free event featuring kid-friendly activities, Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene, April 26, 12:30-3:30 p.m.

“Post Falls Family Celebration, free event featuring family activities, Post Falls Head Start, 106 W. Ninth St., Post Falls, April 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Description: The nonprofit Children’s Village provides residential foster and shelter care; homeless services for children birth to 18; treatment for children with severe emotional problems; The Crisis Nursery for infants and toddlers in a family crisis; parent support, assistance and training.
