NBA : Nuggets down Mavs for fourth straight win
Carmelo Anthony stole Dirk Nowitzki’s skip pass in the closing seconds, then sank two free throws with 9 seconds left, leading the Denver Nuggets past the Dallas Mavericks 75-71 Friday night in Denver.
Anthony finished with 23 points and Allen Iverson added 22 as the Nuggets won their fourth straight.
Bulls 105, Nets 74: At Chicago, Ben Gordon scored 27 points and Luol Deng added 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead Chicago to a victory over New Jersey.
Trail Blazers 85, Rockets 78: At Houston, rookie Brandon Roy scored 24 points and Jarrett Jack added 23 as Portland beat a Houston team that was without stars Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, who are out with back problems.
Suns 103, Hornets 95: At Oklahoma City, Leandro Barbosa scored 26 points and Phoenix wore down injury-depleted New Orleans for the win. Hornets guard Desmond Mason did not play and will miss the remainder of the regular season with a broken nose that requires surgery.
Raptors 94, 76ers 85: At Philadelphia, Chris Bosh had 23 points and 13 rebounds for his sixth straight double-double to help Toronto close in on its first division title with a win over Philadelphia.
Pacers 112, Bobcats 102: At Charlotte, N.C., Danny Granger made 11 of his first 12 shots from the field and scored 32 points to help Indiana beat Charlotte. Pacers point guard Jamal Tinsley missed the game with a sore elbow.
Warriors 116, Grizzlies 104: At Memphis, Tenn., Baron Davis scored 31 points and had nine assists to lead Golden State to a victory over Memphis.
Timberwolves 99, Knicks 94: At New York, Randy Foye made big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and scored 19 points as Minnesota blew an 18-point lead before beating New York.
The Knicks lost Stephon Marbury in the first half to a toe injury.
Heat 88, Celtics 85: At Boston, Shaquille O’Neal had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Miami’s win over Boston.
Udonis Haslem scored 17 for Miami.
Hawks 115, Bucks 102: At Atlanta, Josh Smith had 28 points and a career-high 18 rebounds to help Atlanta snap a seven-game losing streak with a victory over Milwaukee.
Cavaliers 99, Wizards 94: At Washington, LeBron James scored 14 of his 25 points in the final period to help Cleveland defeat Washington. The Wizards were without Gilbert Arenas, who had knee surgery Thursday.
Kings 107, Jazz 103: At Sacramento, Calif., Kevin Martin had 21 points and John Salmons added 17 to help rally Sacramento to a win over Utah.

The Los Angeles Clippers waived center Zeljko Rebraca and signed former Washington guard Will Conroy.
