Appraisal April 21 will benefit cancer society

The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, 805 W. Garland Ave., is offering three appraisals of collectables for $10 April 21 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The appraisals will be conducted by Julie Buttons of Boulevard Appraisal, Diann Bennett of Antiques Northwest and Dave Williams of Dave’s Collectable Jewelry.

Proceeds will benefit cancer support, patient services, education and research.

Volunteers for the shop and donations are always needed. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call the shop at 328-9373.
