Reward offered for stolen items
A $500 reward is being offered for the return of a black and yellow 2005 Polaris Trail Boss 330 all-terrain vehicle, which was stolen from a River City Mini Storage shed last week in Post Falls. Owners discovered the theft upon arriving at the shed and finding their padlock cut and several items missing, including giant Nutcracker soldier Christmas decorations and numerous personal items. Several pieces of furniture were left behind.
Information leading to the return of the Polaris can be sent to 661-2631.
Women’s group formed
The name Women Making Business Alliances has been chosen by the members of the women’s networking group formed recently by Robin Moss of Second Thoughts Consignment Boutique, Carol Rhodes-Rice of Agape Ranch Bath Salts and More and Connie O’Neal of Floral Design – all of Post Falls.
WMBA invites women who own or operate a business and who want to network to join. The group’s goals are to grow members’ businesses, share marketing ideas, perform random acts of kindness, raise awareness about female-owned businesses in the area and socialize on a regular basis.
The next WMBA meeting is at noon, Monday, at the Hot Rod Cafe. There will be a presentation by member Colleen Damiano titled “Credit and How It Impacts Your Life.”
For more information, call Carol at 755-1968 or e-mail wmba@wmbanw.com.
Free poetry reading
The public is invited to a free poetry reading April 27 from five local poets at the Post Falls Library.
Dick Case, Juliene Munts, Stuart Polzin, Zan Agzigian and Tim Hunt will present some of their work. The 6:45 p.m. reading will be an evening of “poetry for everybody,” according to a news release from the library.
