Reward offered in robbery
Secret Witness of Kootenai County is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a woman who robbed a Bank of America more than a year ago.
On March 20, 2006, about 1:30 p.m. the woman entered the bank at 401 Front Ave. in Coeur d’Alene. She appeared nervous and had a list of bills she needed to pay, witnesses told police and the FBI. She talked with one of the tellers, who said the woman appeared stressed as she told her that she had four kids to take care of and a fifth one on the way. The woman was wearing a maternity top and appeared pregnant.
That teller went to a different window, and the suspect approached another teller. She immediately demanded cash from the second teller and said she had a gun but did not display it. The suspect then left the bank on foot. She was described as in her mid-30s, 5-foot-9, heavyset from pregnancy, dark hair in a bun, very blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She was wearing a teal colored maternity top and white pants.
