Scotty Livengood went 3 for 4 with three RBIs as Rogers upset host Mead (9-6) 7-4 Tuesday in the Greater Spokane League.

The Pirates took advantage of three Panthers errors in the sixth and scored four runs to take a 7-3 lead.

John Warmen added three hits and an RBI for Rogers (6-9).

Elsewhere in the GSL, Ferris erupted for 10 runs in the first and ran over visiting University (10-5) 12-1 in five innings. The Saxons’ Beau Brett hit a grand slam in the first and finished with six RBIs. Andrew Kittredge earned the win for Ferris (8-7) after allowing four hits while striking out nine in the complete game. … Jordon Poynor had an RBI double in the sixth as Mt. Spokane topped visiting Lewis and Clark (3-12) 3-0. Nic Fowler earned the save for the Wildcats (14-1) after striking out six in three scoreless innings of relief. … Max Manix allowed six hits in the complete game as Gonzaga Prep topped host Shadle Park (6-9) 4-1. Manix also doubled and scored a run for the Bullpups (7-10). … Sam Schaefer and Boone Plager both hit two-RBI singles in North Central’s six-run fifth as the Indians beat visiting East Valley (5-10) 6-1. Ryan Richardson (5-2) picked up the win for North Central (9-8) after allowing five hits and striking out nine in the complete game.

“Medical Lake (6-9, 5-5) swept visiting Deer Park (1-13, 0-10) in a Great Northern League doubleheader. In the opener, Jacob Pacheco had a two-run triple in the second as the Cardinals won 7-3. Zach Gover picked up the win for Medical Lake. David Johnson hit a three-run home run in the fourth as the Cardinals won the second game 11-3. Tyler Owens knocked in four runs for Medical Lake.

Boys soccer

Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) outscored host Pullman (10-2, 9-2) 4-3 in a shootout as the Eagles topped the Greyhounds 2-1 in the Great Northern League. Casey Duclos, Eric Alexander, Drew Brittan and Matt Stevers scored goals for the Eagles (11-2, 9-2) in the shootout. … Elsewhere in the GNL, Jack Robertson and Richie Mullenberg scored two goals apiece as Deer Park routed visiting Chewelah (1-12, 0-11) 8-1. Justin Lobdell added a goal and two assists for the Stags (6-7, 6-5), who outshot the Cougars 29-7. … Tyler Bland and Jake Bender scored two goals each as Riverside beat host Colville (2-11, 2-10) 5-1. Jaime Rebuelta added a goal and an assist for the Rams (8-5, 7-4).
