Feature creature: Bruno

Jennifer Laruecorrespondent The Spokesman-Review

Bruno was running loose with a friend and got picked up April 16. He could have been out sweeping the neighborhood, checking for undesirables.

He gives off the impression of a sentinel, strong and silent but on the lookout.

He listens while other dogs bark. He is gentle and attentive.

He loves being on a leash and sits when asked. He is full of anticipation, eager to bond, to be brushed and to look after someone.

Anyone interested in adopting this dog or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit the Web site at www.spokanecounty .org/animal.

Dogs cost $75.02 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian.
