Prugh, Eneroth picked All-Pac-10

Washington senior golfer Alex Prugh (Ferris High) was named to the All-Pac-10 second team on Thursday.

Prugh was a first-team selection last season and earned second-team honors in 2005. He was the Huskies’ top finisher in 10 of 11 tournaments this season and won his first collegiate tournament at the Oregon Duck Invitational March 26-27.

Women’s golf

Washington State’s Amy Eneroth (Mead High) was named to the All-Pac-10 second team following her 11th-place finish Wednesday at the Pac-10 championships in Seattle.

Eneroth led the Cougars with nine top-25 finishes this year.

Volleyball

Three junior college players have committed to play at Washington State next season.

Amy Small, a setter from Walla Walla Community College, helped the Warriors to the NWAACC championship two seasons ago. She was named to the All-NWAACC team last season. Small attended Pullman High and was the Great Northern League MVP as a senior.

Frances Sandor, a middle blocker from San Joaquin Delta College, was a second-team All-America selection last season. She was a two-time all-conference selection.

Rachel Holbrook, an outside hitter from College of the Canyons, was a Western State Conference first-team pick in 2006.

Women’s tennis

Idaho advanced to the semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference championships with a 4-3 win over New Mexico State in Boise.
