Chaves changes interview date

Eastern Washington University athletic director candidate Bill Chaves changed his interview date to Tuesday because of travel problems Thursday.

Chaves’ day will include a 3 p.m. open forum in Showalter Hall 109. Open forums will also be held for candidates Peter “Mac” Hart (today) and Robert Chichester (Monday), both at 3 p.m. at the same site.

Golf

Kent Brown of Dominion Meadows Golf Course in Colville fired a final-round 3-under-par 69 to tie for fourth place at the Senior Oregon Open Invitational at Wildhorse Resort & Casino at Pendleton, Ore.

Brown finished at 203, four shots behind Jeff Coston of Blaine, Wash., who won a three-hole playoff over Rob Gibbons.
