Bonds has a fan in Wilbur
I just wanted to congratulate Barry Bonds for breaking probably the most prolific record in any major sporting event. It is time to give him the credit he really deserves. All this steriod hype and allegations is just plain ridiculous. They have had 21 seasons to prove him wrong and have not done so. That is close to 3,000 games!!! Considering the amount of times they walked Barry on purpose, he would have easily amassed 1,000 or more home runs in his career. The slugging percentage he has for his career is like nothing I have ever seen on a steady basis. A 13-time all star is a nice stat to throw in there as well. Oh, and by the way, he has 758 home runs, too. Once again Barry shouldn’t play into all the critics and negatives. He has set a new standard for the next millenium and for future baseball players that dare dream to follow on the golden path of stardom he has paved for them. The only reason they would hate him or put him down is because they want to be just like him. He defines the meaning of the word “hero.” He is without a doubt the greatest baseball player of all time.
