In brief: Development code hearings planned

The Spokesman-Review

The City Council will hold two public hearings on its new development code – an extensive set of regulations that include zoning, building rules, design standards and other policies.

The first hearing takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the CenterPlace community center, 2426 N. Discovery Place at Mirabeau Point Park, next to the YMCA.

Another hearing takes place at the council’s regular meeting 6 p.m., Sept. 11, at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave.

A copy of the new code is available online at www.spokanevalley.org.
