Give Meyer a chance

Who is the great football mind running the Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback selection? Jim Zorn? Mike Holmgren? Their choices against Green Bay may have permanently damaged my TV screen. They stunk.

Read the stats and weep. Seneca Wallace was so busy running for his life he was able to produce a stellar 6-for-15 attempt and no TDs. The third string, David Greene, was even worse – 6 for 17, no TDs and three interceptions.

Why not at least give Erik Meyer a chance to prove them wrong? He could not have stunk up the game any worse than their selection.

Oh, I forgot that would take someone to make a coaching decision and it could come back to embarrass them.
