“Neva-Wood COPS will meet next Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at 4705 N. Addison St. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is available across the street to the east at Zion Church.

“Balboa Neighborhood Council will meet next Thursday at 7 p.m. at Balboa Elementary School, 3010 W. Holyoke Ave.

“Five Mile Prairie Neighborhood Council will meet next Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Five Mile Grange at the intersection of Strong and Five Mile roads.

“Spokane city Community Assembly will meet Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. in the City Council briefing center at City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
