James, Ilgauskas lead Cavs in 2OT
Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored Cleveland’s first six points in the second overtime to lead the Cavaliers to a 104-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
LeBron James, who became the youngest player to score 9,000 career points earlier in the game, led Cleveland with 31 points.
James played 51 of 58 minutes in the marathon game.
Hawks 116, Utah 111: At Atlanta, the Hawks overcame foul trouble, Carlos Boozer and five years of losing to Utah for a win.
Boozer scored a season-high 39 points and had 12 rebounds for the Jazz, but Joe Johnson scored 26 points to help Atlanta end a nine-game losing streak against Utah.
Pacers 119, Knicks 92: At New York, Mike Dunleavy scored 22 of his career-high 36 points in the third quarter as Indiana won.
Jermaine O’Neal added 22 points two days after sustaining a mild concussion in a victory at Miami.
Heat 91, Timberwolves 87: At Miami, Dwyane Wade survived a horrendous shooting night to score 30 points, Udonis Haslem added 18 and the Heat finally found a way to win at home, beating Minnesota.
Wade shot 6 of 22, including 10 straight misses in one stretch.
Warriors 125, Grizzlies 117: At Memphis, Stephen Jackson had 28 points and 12 rebounds, and Monta Ellis added 23 points to help Golden State end a three-game road losing streak with a victory over the Grizzlies.
The Warriors’ victory overshadowed 32 points from Memphis forward Rudy Gay, the second consecutive game in which he has surpassed 30.
Mavericks 111, Magic 108: At Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter and the Mavericks shut down Dwight Howard the final three quarters, giving them just enough to hold off Orlando.
Howard, who scored 11 of the Magic’s first 13 points and 16 in the first quarter, finished with 22.
Suns, Spurs 95: At San Antonio, Grant Hill had 22 points and the Phoenix Suns handed the Spurs their first home loss of the season.
Tim Duncan led the Spurs with a season-high 36 points and 17 rebounds.
Trail Blazers 88, Hornets 76: At Portland, Brandon Roy had 24 points and eight assists to lead the Trail Blazers to their eighth straight victory.
David West had 21 points and Tyson Chandler had 16 points and 19 rebounds for the Hornets.
Two charged in carjacking
Two suspects were arrested and will be charged with carjacking Atlanta Hawks forward Shelden Williams at gunpoint.
Bernard Moss and Darius Mathis, both 18, have been accused of five armed robberies near Atlanta and are being held at the Douglas County jail, police announced. They are to be charged in Fulton County on Williams’ carjacking but first must answer to the charges in Douglas County.
