In brief: More passengers going through SIA

Spokane International Airport reported 146,080 passengers boarded planes in November; a 7.45 percent increase versus 135,950 last November. Through the first eleven months of 2007, The airport has handled 3,174,382 passengers; a 7.92 percent increase over 2006’s 2,941,345.

During the month of November, 4,647.1 tons of freight and mail came through the airport in comparison to 4,623.9 tons in 2006; a 0.50 percent increase. Through November of 2007, 47,585 tons of total cargo has come through in comparison to 52,456 tons in 2006; a 9.29 percent decrease.

Felts Field Airport’s 4,161 aviation operations during November was an 8.73 percent decrease from 2006’s 4,559. For 2007, 67,364 aviation operations have been reported at Felts Field; a 3.4 percent increase versus 2006’s 65,151. Felts Field also reported that 4.3 tons of freight was handled during November; a 4.44 percent decrease over 2006’s 4.5 tons. Through November 2007, 67 tons of freight has been reported at Felts Field; a 5.63 percent decrease from 2006’s 71 tons.
