Really BIG Raffle tickets on sale now

Tickets are on sale now for North Idaho College’s largest fundraiser, the Really BIG Raffle, in which ticket holders have the chance to win a $300,000 grand prize house. Proceeds from the raffle are used to fund scholarships, update classroom technology, support programs and encourage outstanding instruction at NIC.

This year’s grand prize home is a craftsman-style, two-story house with 2,335 finished square feet of living area and a full unfinished basement. The open floor plan includes three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a large family room, a formal dining room with a coffered ceiling, and a den. Amenities will include upgraded flooring and cabinets, tile accents, central air conditioning, a gas fireplace, oversized garage and full landscaping.

Currently under construction by the NIC carpentry students, the home is at 2806 Marceille Drive in Coeur d’Alene in the Greenstone Coeur d’Alene Place neighborhood. Students enrolled in both the 10-month carpentry program and the two-year carpentry management program gain experience through participation in the construction of the house, under the supervision of instructor Dave McRae.

Other prizes include the first prize $20,000 car, the second prize $10,000 boat, the third prize $3,500 travel package or the fourth prize $2,000 shopping spree. Winners may apply the cash value of their prize to the purchase of their choice.

Those who purchase tickets before May 31 will also be eligible for early bird prizes, a $500 Costco gift card and a North Idaho bed and breakfast getaway.

The Really BIG Raffle is sponsored in part again this year by Stock Building Supply of Coeur d’Alene and Greenstone Homes.
