U of Phoenix donates school supplies to Shaw

The University of Phoenix Eastern Washington campus has donated more than $1,000 in school supplies to Shaw Middle School.

Students, teachers and school leaders wore Santa hats while they delivered the supplies to the school.

There is much attention placed on school supplies at the beginning of the school year, but the group from the university wanted to make sure those supplies don’t run out in the middle of the school year.

“We believe that school supplies – especially midway through the year – are a meaningful and practical choice that provides immediate impact to these great students,” said Paul Green, the campus director.
